These Air Fryer Baked Potatoes come out perfectly every time—crispy, golden skin on the outside and soft, fluffy centers on the inside. With just a touch of oil and simple seasoning, they’re quick, easy, and RV-friendly. Ready in under 45 minutes, they make the perfect base for your favorite toppings or a satisfying meal all on their own.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • butter to taste

Method
 

  1. 1. Prep the Potatoes:
    Scrub the potatoes clean and dry thoroughly. Moisture is the enemy of crispy skin.
    Poke each potato 4–5 times with a fork to let steam escape during cooking.
    Rub each one with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. 2. Air Fry ‘Em:
    Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
    Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket with space between them.
    Cook at 400°F for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
    Tip: Start checking around the 35-minute mark by inserting a knife or skewer. It should slide in easily.
  3. 3. Rest & Serve:
    Let them rest for 5 minutes once done. Slice open and fluff with a fork.
    Add your favorite toppings and dig in!
