Our Review

We stayed at Turkey Creek (Escapees) RV Park from October 29-November 5, 2021. While it’s a nice park, the back-in site 6F was fairly well-maintained but was hard to get level in our 38′ Class A Motorhome. If our RV was shorter we would have had an easier time getting it level. The front of the site sloped down to the road and our rig was a bit too long to be level without blocking the front tires quite a bit.

We think the back-in spots on rows E & F would be better for trailers that can level further back. The pull-through sites on row D, and the sites on the B & C rows and G&H rows looked to be more level. The pads are gravel and equipped with picnic tables and fire pits.

The park’s well-maintained landscaping adds to the beauty of the campsite, and the sound of the nearby creek makes for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The campground is only a couple miles from the action in Branson. With plenty to do and keep you busy during your stay, it is a great location for a trip to the Ozarks. And you’d be hard-pressed to find a more reasonably priced campground even at the Non-Member Rate.

Turkey Creek (Escapees) RV Park

During our stay, we attended Dolly Parton’s Stampede, which is an electrifying spectacle showcasing 32 majestic equines and a troupe of elite equestrians within a vast 35,000-square-foot arena. This Branson-based dinner attraction features a friendly competition, exhilarating horseback acrobatics performed at breakneck speeds, breathtaking special effects, and extraordinary musical showcases, all while relishing a delectable four-course meal fit for the whole family. It was a lot of fun.

We took the Daytime Excursion ride on the Branson Scenic Railway’s Ozark Zephyr, a one-hour 45-minute trip through the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. This ride takes passengers through tunnels, over trestles, and through southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. We weren’t really impressed with the ride and didn’t think it was worth the cost of the trip.

We also saw Neal McCoy and the Oak Ridge Boys in Concert at the Mansion on back-to-back nights. There is always something going on in town!
